Overview:
Wing Nuts started aircraft services in 1995 with a 1945 Fairchild 24.  A short time later it was incorporated under the name Wing Nuts, Inc.  Although Wing Nuts has been in existence only the last ten years, the experience began in 1968 when its owner, rebuilt a 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet Bellaire.

In the early 70’s he was an aircraft technician with the U.S. Navy, overhauling A4, A7 and F8 aircraft.  Off duty time was spent building and racing a 1969 Barracuda and 1969 Dart Swinger followed by rebuilding a 1957 Chevrolet two door station wagon and 1940 Chevrolet coupe.  A short time in late 70’s was spent working in a restoration shop on Model A Fords.  The 80’s started by restoring several 1970-1972 Camaros, Chevelles, Barracudas and of all things a Fairchild PT-19.  After ending a fourteen-year career in airport management, he founded Wing Nuts., restoring approximately thirty aircraft in the last ten years.  Built two full size World War I replicas and repaired or modified several others.  Partial lists of aircraft are as follows.
